Adult Ministries Volunteer Opportunities
Prayer Chain
Each week multiple requests for prayer come into the church from prayer request cards turned in during weekend services, phone calls, our web site and e-mails from people in our church, our community and throughout the world. We have a distribution list of people that are willing to pray for the these needs and they receive e-mails throughout the week containing prayer requests as they are sent into the church office. If you would like to be added to the distribution list and become a prayer warrior contact the church office at info@fcchh.org. If you have a prayer request that you would like our warriors to lift up to God, go to our Prayer Board and post your prayer request.

Life Group Leader
A key strategy for discipleship at First Christian Church is the Life Group Ministry. In order to start new groups, we are always looking for people with a servant's heart that can lead a group to grow together in the Lord and grow in their relationships with each other. If you feel called and gifted by God for such a ministry, Apply here and our Life Group Ministry Leader will contact you for further discussion.

We have multiple services for adults and students that use live worship bands playing modern worship music. We are always in need of musicians who can play guitar, bass, drums and keyboards, as well as vocalists. If you have experience in a band and like the kind of music we perform during our worship celebrations, this might be God's calling for you. Sound/Video Technician
Our adult and student worship services use lighting, sound and video to effectively lead people in worship and discipleship. We are in constant need of people with skills for running a sound board and computer skills for running the media shows. First Impressions Team
The first impression that visitors get when they attend a worship service starts when they approach our door. We always need cheerful ambassadors for Christ to greet people when they first enter our building and ensure that they and their children get to where they need to go as efficiently as possible. We also need people at our Welcome Center to answer questions about the church, provide directions, and provide information about various programs that are currently going on. Coffee Ministry
Because we want to create a relaxed, relational atmosphere for our worship services, we provide hot coffee and tea in the foyer. We make it available to enhance your fellowship before and after services, and also invite you to take it into the auditorium with you. Your place of service could be to come early and prepare the coffee and hot water and place it in the foyer so that our members and guests can enjoy it as they arrive. Communion/Offering Servers
Each week we celebrate the Lord's Supper at FCCHH, and take up an offering to support our work in the community and the world. Multiple servers are needed at each worship service to collect the offering and to serve communion. Volunteer here or for more information contact the church office at info@fcchh.org.
Communion Preparation
Each week we celebrate the Lord's Supper at FCCHH. We need people that are willing to prepare the elements in advance by filling the bread trays with wafers, filling the juice trays with cups and filling the cups with juice. Outdoor Maintenance
We have various needs depending on the season of the year for outdoor maintenance of our grounds. This includes grass cutting, snow shoveling, and debris removal as examples. If you love the smell of grass clippings in the morning, this may be the ministry for you! Volunteer here or for more information contact the church office at info@fcchh.org.
