» CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES Soundboard Operation for Planet Prayz and Kids' Kingdom
We need 3rd through 6th graders to serve on the soundboard for Planet Prayz and Kids' Kingdom. Those who sign up will also be scheduled to observe an experienced soundboard operator during one of the worship experiences in the next few weeks. Have a heart for students? The Forge has openings for Group Leaders during the 9:00 and 11:00 morning services! We have just started a new and exciting format at the Forge! If you are interested in leading a small group of students and helping them learn more about the Bible and how to make it relevant to their lives, sign up at the welcome window or contact the church office at info@fcchh.org. Our Fall Campaign this year will be about Spiritual Genetics - God's design for FCC. We are creating the campaign messages and materials ourselves and could use the help of some creative people to develop some creative elements to support the campaign. Card Ministry
Once a month, some folks from the church come together to create homemade cards to send to people in the congregation with prayer needs. If this sounds like a ministry in which you would like to participate, contact the church office at info@fcchh.org. Prayer Team
On the first Sunday of each month after the 11:00 A.M. service (approximately 12:30 to 1:30 P.M.) the Prayer Team meets to lift up the needs of the church and its members, the community, the nation and the world. Each week multiple requests for prayer come into the church from prayer request cards turned in during weekend services, phone calls, our web site and e-mails from people in our church, our community and throughout the world. We have a distribution list of people that are willing to pray for the these needs and they receive e-mails throughout the week containing prayer requests as they are sent into the church office. If you would like to be added to the distribution list and become a prayer warrior contact the church office at info@fcchh.org. If you have a prayer request that you would like our warriors to lift up to God, go to our Prayer Board and post your prayer request. Cell Group Leader
A key strategy for discipleship at First Christian Church is the Cell Group Ministry. In order to start new groups, we are always looking for people with a servant's heart that can lead a group to grow together in the Lord and grow in their relationships with each other. Worship Service Opportunities Worship Band Sound/Video Technician
Our adult and student worship services use lighting, sound and video to effectively lead people in worship and discipleship. We are in constant need of people with skills for running a sound board and computer skills for running the media shows. here or for more information contact the church office at info@fcchh.org. The first impression that visitors get when they attend a worship service starts when they approach our door. We always need cheerful ambassadors for Christ to greet people when they first enter our building and ensure that they and their children get to where they need to go as efficiently as possible. We also need people at our Welcome Center to answer questions about the church, provide directions, and provide information about various programs that are currently going on. here or for more information contact the church office at info@fcchh.org. Coffee Ministry Because we want to create a relaxed, relational atmosphere for our worship services, we provide hot coffee and tea in the foyer. We make it available to enhance your fellowship before and after services, and also invite you to take it into the auditorium with you. Your place of service could be to come early and prepare the coffee and hot water and place it in the foyer so that our members and guests can enjoy it as they arrive. here or for more information contact the church office at info@fcchh.org. Communion/Offering Servers Each week we celebrate the Lord's Supper at FCCHH, and take up an offering to support our work in the community and the world. Multiple servers are needed at each worship service to collect the offering and to serve communion. here or for more information contact the church office at info@fcchh.org. Communion Preparation Each week we celebrate the Lord's Supper at FCCHH. We need people that are willing to prepare the elements in advance by filling the bread trays with wafers, filling the juice trays with cups and filling the cups with juice. or for more information contact the church office at info@fcchh.org. If you have an interest in acting, directing, writing scripts, set design or making videos, then the FCC Players may be the place for you. Drama, skits, and testimonies can provide powerful "God moments" for worshippers and make the Word of God come alive for worshippers. here or for more information contact the church office at info@fcchh.org.

This is a community outreach bringing churches of Huber Heights together to provide meals for the the needy of our community. With times as they are now, there is a greater need to help those less fortunate. If God has put it on your heart to serve, here or contact the church at info@fcchh.org. Target Dayton
Target Dayton provides a worship sevice and meals for homeless and underprivileged individuals in our community. They are in need of servers to minister to their homeless on a continual basis. Anyone 12 years of age and older can participate. If you are interested in ministering to the homeless and would like to join this group, on-line.
Home Makeover
Strength comes in numbers. The Christian Youth Corps is organizing a home makeover of the home of the oldest living co-joined twins living right here in Dayton. This home makeover is a project to renovate their home to make it more functional for the twins who are experiencing more difficulty getting around as they age. If you are interested in learning more or getting involved with this project, on-line. You do not need construction experience to help out; we also need people who are willing to help solicit donations for supplies, food and materials needed for the projects. Wrecking Crew
The Wrecking Crew is a group of servants who provide time and energy to ensure that our multipurpose facility is arranged appropriately for each worship service, kid's program or special program. That means moving and setting up chairs and tables, moving walls, etc. to transform the facility from one program to another. here or for more information contact the church office at info@fcchh.org. Outdoor Maintenance We have various needs depending on the season of the year for outdoor maintenance of our grounds. This includes grass cutting, snow shoveling, and debris removal as examples. Building Maintenance - The Ratchet Team
As with any building, the church building needs to have periodic preventative maintenance and occasional repair. Changing light bulbs, replacing furnace filters, minor plumbing and carpentry are among the needs we have throughout the year.
