The Air Force brought Mike and Megan Baumgartner to Huber Heights in September 2001 and they began attending FCC in 2002. They remained partners until reassignment in 2006, then returned after Mike’s active-duty retirement in 2012. During the three moves in between, FCC was the standard they measured all prospective churches against!  Mike has served as an elder since 2022.

Mike and Megan have two adult children. Bennette and her husband Jeremy live in Clinton Township, Michigan and Grady attends the University of Dayton.  Any time with their children is a good time, and the Baumgartners cherish every moment the kids are home.

Mike has been a worship team member at FCC and other church homes since 2002. He has led the men’s ministry and is a LifeGroup leader. According to Mike, “My greatest privilege as an elder is to be trusted with the prayer needs of our FCC family."
