The FCC Worship Team welcomes you!

Thank you for checking out the FCC Worship Team page.  We pray you find the music and message of our services meaningful and that you feel free to worship!

Leading others in Worship!

Worship is a very personal thing.  But, it is also very powerful to worship with others! Worship is about clearing our minds and focusing on God’s love, goodness, and faithfulness.  At FCC, we use contemporary praise and worship songs to help connect us with God. When we lead worship, we are not performing for you . . . we are worshipping with you!

Resound!

Psalm 98:4 (ESV) reads “Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!” In addition to weekly Sunday services, the Worship Team hosts a quarterly worship service called “Resound!”. This special event includes more songs, more singing, more praying, and more celebrating!

The Worship Team is more than just the band!

The FCC Worship Team isn’t only about the band. It’s made up of many individuals serving together to make our community and worship experiences impactful. It includes the musicians in the band, our lyrics team, livestream team, sound crew, and many other roles. We would love to have you as part of the team!

Are you looking for a place to serve?

If you are looking for a place to serve, we have a place for you!  If you want to talk to someone, find anyone on Sunday and ask them to point out Keith Colbert, our Worship Coordinator (and drummer), or email him at kcolbert@fcchh.org.  We have opportunities on the following teams.  Click on any of the teams (links) below to go to an information page about that opportunity:

Are there any requirements to join the Worship Team?

  • First, we are looking for individuals that are actively pursuing a closer relationship with God. At FCC, we often talk about taking the “Next Step” in our faith. What is your next step? Check out our “ABOUT US” page for more info!
  • Second, you should consider FCC your church home and consistently attend worship services.
  • Third, we look for individuals who have a heart for serving and a heart for worship.  We seek individuals that demonstrate humility, flexibility and are team players.
  • And last, there is a minimum level of technology skills required. We use email and text messaging to communicate along with some apps for scheduling, accessing our song library and practicing with the backing tracks.
