Project One Hope was founded in 2009 with the support of two First Christian Church members. The Project was established as a collaborative effort between six local churches.  At the time, many members of our community were feeling the effects of an economic downturn and experiencing food instability.  Project One Hope was established as an outreach program to provide meals and fellowship to those in need.  

Currently, the Community Meals program is supported by multiple churches in our area.  Meals at First Christian Church (The Table) are typically served on the first Friday of each month.  Our team of volunteers typically serve over 100 meals during each event, but have been known to serve over 300 meals in one evening.
